Mrs. Mary Patton, who has been a resident of Montgomery County for 60 years died yesterday morning at her residence near Mace of old age. Mrs. Patton is 80 years of age and is the widow of David Patton, who died 32 years ago. Six children, three sons and three daughters, survive her. The deceased confessed faith many years ago and has ever been a constant christian and a prominent member of the Newlight church. The funeral services were conducted at the ME Church at Mace this afternoon by Rev. JW Greene. The interment occurred at Mace Cemetery - kbz

Mrs. Mary Patton, aged 80 years, died Tuesday morning at her home in Mace. She had been declining for some time and her death was not unexpected. She was a very lovable old lady and had been a resident of this county for over 60 years. She leaves three sons and three daughters. The funeral occurred this afternoon at two o’clock from the M. E. Church at Mace conducted by Dr. J. W. Greene. -s

Mrs. Mary Patton died at Mace Feb. 14, at the age of 80 years and 15 days. The deceased was born in Hamilton County, Ohio, Jan. 30, 1813, her maiden name being McFeely. She was married to David Patton, Jan. 18, 1834, he having died years ago. To them were born twelve children, six of whom remain to mourn the loss of a loving mother. They are Albert Patton of Boone County, Missouri, Mrs. Isabelle Hipes, Mrs. Laura Quin and James Patton of Mace, Joel Patton, a farmer near Waynetown, and Mrs. Lizzie Richard of Morgan County. Mrs. Patton had been a pensioner for some time on account of her son who was killed in the army. She confessed faith in an early day and has ever been a true Christian and a most prominent member of the Newlight Church. She was well loved by all that knew her. The funeral occurred Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Methodist Church conducted by Rev. J. W. Greene, of Crawfordsville. Interment was at Mace Cemetery. - s
